David Moyes takes charge of first training session

New West Ham United manager David Moyes takes charge of his first training session since succeeding Slaven Bilic.

New West Ham United manager David Moyes has taken charge of his first training session with the team following his appointment this morning.

Moyes was confirmed as Slaven Bilic's successor at the club earlier today and wasted no time in getting to grips with his squad, overseeing training at Rush Green this afternoon.

The 54-year-old will next make his first visit to the London Stadium on Wednesday for a press conference, although he must wait 12 days until he takes charge of his first match due to the international break.

The Hammers take on Watford on November 19 looking to climb out of the relegation zone, having picked up only two wins from their opening 11 Premier League games.

A number of West Ham's first-team players were absent from the session due to international commitments, but the likes of Manuel Lanzini, Mark Noble and Andy Carroll all featured.
