West Ham United have continued their poor pre-season form with a 3-0 defeat to Rubin Kazan.
Hammers boss Slaven Bilic fielded new signings Havard Nordtveit, Sofiane Feghouli and Gokhan Tore but they were unable to prevent the Premier League side from losing emphatically in Austria.
The opening 15 minutes were dominated by West Ham but midway through the first half, Rubin went in front when Marko Devic was well placed to convert Ilzat Akhmetov's cutback.
Devic almost netted a second soon afterwards when his attempted chip only drifted over Adrian's crossbar by a matter of inches but just before half time, Rubin doubled their advantage when Maxime Lestienne intercepted a poor backpass from Declan Rice before firing past Adrian.
West Ham improved after the restart, with Aaron Cresswell heading wide from a cross sent in by Enner Valencia before Feghouli drove the ball marginally over after cutting in from the left flank.
The East London outfit were made to pay with 23 minutes left when Gokdeniz Karadeniz picked up the ball from 35 yards out before driving into the penalty area and slotting into the far corner.
West Ham tried to find a consolation goal but it was not to be for Bilic's side, who have just one friendly remaining before their Europa League fixture next week.
