Bolton Wanderers are close to agreeing terms with West Ham United for the season-long loan of young defender Reece Burke, according to a report.
The 20-year-old has previously spent time working under Wanderers boss Phil Parkinson at Bradford City, where he made 34 appearances in the 2015-16 campaign.
Burke was again sent out on loan last term, enduring a more frustrating spell as he was restricted to just 10 league outings due to a hernia issue.
Sky Sports News reports that the West Ham academy product will be given another year to develop away from East London, having so far been used just 12 times for the Hammers in all competitions.
Burke will become Bolton's fourth signing of the summer, joining Adam le Fondre, Mark Little and Andrew Taylor at the Macron Stadium.
