A Chinese Super League club is reportedly willing to part with £38m in order to land the signature of West Ham United midfielder Dimitri Payet.
The 28-year-old has been a star performer in Slaven Bilic's team this season having scored six goals and providing four assists in 18 appearances.
Earlier today the club denied reports that Payet's agent has requested that his client receive £125,000-a-week wages in a new deal at Upton Park.
Now it has emerged from Sky Sports News that an unnamed Chinese club are prepared to offer £38m to sign the midfielder, who would earn a reported £130,000 a week after tax.
Payet joined West Ham from Marseille in the summer of 2015.
