Everton and West Ham United are battling to sign FC Augsburg defender Martin Hinteregger, according to The Sun.
The 25-year-old defender is highly regarded by a number of European sides after his performances in the Bundesliga last season.
The Austrian international's low value of £13m has also alerted the likes of Inter Milan, while the player himself is said to be interested in plying his wares in the Premier League if allowed to leave by his German club.
Hinteregger began his career in his homeland with FC Red Bull Salzburg, before moving to his current side in 2016.
The left-footed defender made 31 appearances last season for Augsburg, and has 30 caps for the national side.
