Cheikhou Kouyate is reportedly close to agreeing terms on a new four-year deal at West Ham United.
The 26-year-old joined the Hammers from Anderlecht in the summer of 2014 and has proved to be one of the club's most consistent performers over the last couple of seasons.
A host of clubs were linked with a move for the Senegal international last summer, but West Ham rejected the interest and according to The Mirror, are now close to tying the midfielder to the capital club.
The same report claims that Kouyate will be made one of West Ham's highest earners, alongside Dimitri Payet, who penned a new five-and-a-half-year deal earlier this week.
West Ham return to Premier League action away to Norwich City on Saturday afternoon.
