West Ham United have made a £14.3m approach for AS Monaco defender Aymen Abdennour, according to a report.
The 25-year-old has previously been linked with a move to Barcelona and Juventus, while the player's agent recently confirmed that Liverpool have also shown an interest.
However, it has been suggested by French publication L'Equipe that West Ham have taken a big step towards landing the Tunisian by launching a fresh bid.
Monaco are likely to reject the Hammers' offer, the same report claims, but Slaven Bilic is willing to up the ante in order to fend off interest from elsewhere.
Abdennour played 26 times for Monaco in all competitions last season.
