Queens Park Rangers have reportedly failed in a bid to sign West Ham United midfielder Mohamed Diame.
It is believed that Harry Redknapp had identified the 26-year-old as the ideal player to bolster his midfield options, amid reports that the Hammers would consider his departure for the right price.
However, having received the approach, West Ham have decided that they want to keep hold of the Senegal international, according to BBC Sport.
Diame has made 28 appearances so far this season.
