Sporting Lisbon have reportedly indicated that any club interested in Rodrigo Battaglia will have to pay at least £27m for his signature.
During the January transfer window, West Ham United were linked with a move for the Argentine, who has featured on 42 occasions for Sporting during the current campaign.
A move never materialised but according to A Bola, the Hammers may be prepared to renew their interest in the summer should they remain in the Premier League.
The report claims that the 26-year-old would represent a cheaper option than William Carvalho, who West Ham United have been keen on during the past two windows.
Roma, Napoli and Inter Milan are also said to be interested in Battaglia, who still has over four years remaining on his current contract.
