West Ham United are reportedly interested in signing Bournemouth goalkeeper Asmir Begovic.
Lukasz Fabianski had been in impressive form for the Hammers in the early stages of the 2019-20 campaign before picking up a hip problem which required surgery at the start of October.
Experienced Spaniard Roberto struggled to fill the void between the sticks, and David Martin has since been installed as the club's first-choice stopper with Fabianski still on the sidelines.
However, according to The Sun, West Ham are keen to sign an experienced goalkeeper to provide firm competition for their number one and Begovic has emerged as a leading candidate for the position.
The 32-year-old was deemed surplus to requirements at Bournemouth ahead of the 2019-20 campaign and was subsequently sent on loan to Qarabag in the Azerbaijan Premier League.
The Bosnia and Herzegovina international will return to the Vitality Stadium next month, although his future under Cherries boss Eddie Howe is believed to be far from secure.
