Victor Moses "very close" to Wigan Athletic deal

Wigan Athletic manager Roberto Martinez has claimed that Victor Moses is "very close" to agreeing a new contract with the club.

Reports had suggested that talks regarding fresh terms for the 21-year-old had stalled, but Martinez is hopeful that an agreement will be reached shortly.

"We are very close to agreeing a new contract with Victor. He's got the talent to be whatever he wants," the Spanish boss told Sky Sports News.

Earlier today Martinez said that he was keen for Colombian striker Hugo Rodallega to commit his future to the club.
