Wigan Athletic boss Uwe Rosler dedicates his side's win over Brighton & Hove Albion to Ben Watson following his severe injury.

Wigan Athletic manager Uwe Rosler has dedicated his side's 2-1 win over Brighton & Hove Albion to the injured Ben Watson.

James McArthur and Chris McCann found the net for the Latics, who withstood intense pressure after Leonardo Ulloa pulled one back late on, to secure maximum points.

"We would like to dedicate this hard earned victory to Ben Watson," Rosler told reporters.

Watson suffered a double leg fracture during a 50-50 challenge with Barnsley's Martin Woods in Wigan's 2-0 victory over the Tykes.

The result leaves the Latics one point off the playoff positions with a game in hand on many of the teams around them.
