Wigan Athletic manager Uwe Rosler has described Saturday's 2-1 win at Derby County as the best away performance that he has seen since being at the club.
The Latics earned a surprise victory at the iPro Stadium yesterday afternoon as two goals in the last 20 minutes from James McClean saw them come away with the spoils.
After ending their winless run of eight games, Rosler believes that his players should be proud of their triumph over the league leaders.
"Before the game, nobody gave us a chance but this was the best away performance since I have been at the club," the German is quoted as saying by BBC Sport.
"We had complete dedication to the game plan, demonstrating that we are not a group of individuals but that we are starting to come together and be a team. I am so proud as to how they reacted as a group and I think the players have answered the questions in a very impressive way."
The result has seen Wigan move up to 19th place in the table, four points clear of the relegation zone.
