Wigan Athletic's shirt sponsor Premier Range have ended their association with the Championship club following the appointment of new manager Malky Mackay.
The Scotsman's arrival at the DW Stadium this week has been met with criticism following his recent text message scandal.
During his time as Cardiff City boss, Mackay is alleged to have sent texts of a racist, homophobic and sexist nature, which are currently the subject of an Football Association investigation.
Following Mackay's return to management, kitchen firm Premier Range, who have their logo printed on the back of Wigan's shirts, have stated that the position was "untenable".
Mackay was out of work for almost a year following his dismissal from Cardiff in December 2013.
