Wigan Athletic made it four away League One victories on the trot by beating Bolton Wanderers 4-0 at the University of Bolton Stadium on Saturday.

James McClean was the star of the show as he scored two second-half goals either side of a Callum Lang strike to put the result beyond doubt after Will Keane had opened the scoring in the first half.

With 25 points from 11 outings so far, the Latics are in third place at the moment, a point off top spot with two games in hand on current leaders Plymouth Argyle.

Leam Richardson's men now prepare to take on an opposing side against whom they are unbeaten in five of the last six meetings, picking up four wins and one draw.

Tuesday's hosts, who claimed a 3-0 triumph in the most recent encounter back in March, will be confident of continuing their already-established dominance over the visitors.

MK Dons were beaten away from home for the second league game running as they fell to a 1-0 defeat against Shrewsbury Town at the New Meadow on Saturday.

Shaun Whalley's opener 11 minutes into the second period was enough to condemn Martin Russell's men to a third loss of the campaign.

The Dons are sixth on the log heading into Tuesday's contest, seven points off the top of the standings but also with a game in hand.

Having won only one away game all-season long, MK Dons are set for another baptism of fire on the road against another of the league's hotshots.

Team News

James McClean was on the scoresheet for the first time since August last time out, and the Irish midfielder will be looking to push on from there.

Twenty-seven-year-old Jordan Cousins had his game cut short by a 50th-minute substitution on Saturday, making him a doubt for this one.

After seeing his side struggle to find a cutting edge in their last involvement, Martin might contemplate making some changes to his attack for this one.

The likes of Troy Parrott and Scott Twine could drop to the bench following largely unconvincing displays last time out, making room for Max Watters and Hiram Boateng respectively.

Wigan Athletic possible starting lineup:
Amos; Darikwa, Watts, Whatmough, Power; Cousins, Naylor, Keane; McClean, Wyke, Lang

MK Dons possible starting lineup:
Fisher; Lewington, Darling, O'Hora; Harvie, Kasumu, O'Riley, Kioso; Eisa, Boateng, Watters
