Team News: Paul Anderson back for Ipswich Town against Wigan Athletic

Paul Anderson returns for Ipswich Town on the right of midfield for this afternoon's Championship match at Wigan Athletic.

Paul Anderson has come back into the Ipswich Town lineup for this afternoon's trip to Wigan Athletic in the Championship.

The winger missed Tuesday's victory over Yeovil Town through injury but returns in place of Carlos Edwards on the right of Mick McCarthy's midfield four.

Hosts Wigan start without a recognised striker as both Grant Holt and Marc-Antoine Fortune miss out, with on-loan Manchester United midfielder Nick Powell expected to lead the line.

Shaun Maloney was expected to return for Owen Coyle's Latics but he fails to make the squad of 18.

Wigan: Carson; Shotton, Rogne, Barnett, Perch, Watson, McClean, McManaman, McArthur, Powell, Beausejour

Ipswich: Gerken; Chambers, Berra, Smith, Cresswell; Anderson, Hyam, Skuse, Tunnicliffe; Murphy, McGoldrick
