Wigan Athletic are reportedly leading the way to sign Josh Windass after entering talks with the Rangers midfielder.
The 24-year-old has also been linked with a move to Ipswich Town, while Premier League duo Burnley and Cardiff City are also said to have held an interest on one point.
Sky Sports News suggests that Wigan is the most likely next destination for the former Accrington Stanley ace, however, with Gers boss Steven Gerrard giving his blessing for the move to go through.
Windass top scored for Rangers in all competitions last season, netting 18 times in 41 appearances, and played the full 90 minutes in last weekend's 1-1 draw with Aberdeen.
The Scottish Premiership side will also sell full-back Declan John to Swansea City before the 5pm deadline for English clubs to conclude their business.
