Report: Wolfsburg keen on free agent Bacary Sagna

Former Manchester City defender Bacary Sagna is believed to have set his sights on a move to Wolfsburg, according to reports.

Former Manchester City defender Bacary Sagna has set his sights on a move to German club Wolfsburg, according to reports.

The full-back is currently a free agent after being released by the Citizens in the summer.

A number of Premier League clubs are reportedly interested in Sagna's services, including Chelsea and Leicester City.

However, The Sun claims that the France international has been approached by Wolfsburg, who are 14th in the Bundesliga table.

New coach Martin Schmidt is understood to be a big admirer of the versatile player, who can also operate in central defence.

Italian giants Lazio, AC Milan and Inter Milan are also believed to have approached the former Arsenal defender.
