Half-Time Report: Nouha Dicko fires Wolverhampton Wanderers into lead

Nouha Dicko's goal keeps Wolverhampton Wanderers' playoff hopes alive as they lead Millwall at half time.

Wolverhampton Wanderers are firmly in the Championship playoff hunt as Nouha Dicko's goal has given them a 1-0 half-time lead against Millwall at Molineux.

Benik Afobe tested David Forde in the Millwall goal with a fierce strike inside the opening minutes, before Afobe again caused problems for the Millwall defence with a surging run, only to be muscled off the ball by Mark Beevers as he was about to pull the trigger.

Rajiv van La Parra's delivery was swept off the toe of the waiting Afobe just minutes later, then the Dutch forward's close-range effort was kept out by Forde.

David Edwards was the next to go close for Wolves with a curling effort from 20 yards, but again Forde was equal to it.

However, there was nothing he could do to keep out the opener, which came when Dicko side-footed home from inside the box after Bakary Sako's mazy run.
