Wolverhampton Wanderers team news: Injury, suspension list vs. Olympiacos

Sports Mole rounds up the latest injury and suspension news for Wolverhampton Wanderers ahead of their Europa League last-16 first leg away to Olympiacos.

Wolverhampton Wanderers will be looking to gain a valuable away first-leg advantage in the last 16 of the Europa League when they travel to Greece to take on Olympiacos on Thursday night.

The build-up to the match has been overshadowed by the escalating coronavirus outbreak, with Wolves failing in a bid to get the contest postponed after Olympiacos owner Evangelos Marinakis confirmed that he had contracted the virus.

All of the Greek side's playing staff have been cleared of the virus themselves, but the match will still go ahead behind closed doors.

Here, Sports Mole rounds up Wolves' latest injury and suspension news ahead of the first leg.

Jonny

Status: Out
Type of injury: Ankle
Possible return date: Unknown

Nuno Espirito Santo has refused to put a date on Jonny's potential return from an ankle injury, saying earlier this month that the full-back will be unavailable for "some time".

Morgan Gibbs-White

Status: Out
Type of injury: Ankle
Possible return date: Unknown

Morgan Gibbs-White has suffered a torrid time with injuries this season, and the latest setback is a twisted ankle which he sustained in an Under-23 game. Nuno is optimistic that this latest absence will not be a lengthy one, but it will be enough to keep him out of this match.

WOLVES' SUSPENSION LIST

Wolves have no suspended players for this Europa League tie.
