Wolverhampton Wanderers winger Razak Boukari is expected to miss the majority of the season after he suffered a "serious knee injury" in a reserve game on Friday night.
Since his transfer to the club in 2012, the 28-year-old has been plagued by injury problems, with his last appearance for the Championship club coming almost three years ago.
The Togo international had been hoping to step up his comeback in the club's Under-21 game at Fulham, but he lasted just 28 minutes of his side's 3-0 triumph.
Wolves revealed that first indications suggest that he had sustained a "serious knee injury", but further assessment will be made in the coming days.
