Wolverhampton Wanderers defender Ethan Ebanks-Landell out for a month

Wolverhampton Wanderers defender Ethan Ebanks-Landell will be out of action for up to six weeks with a broken bone in his foot.

Wolverhampton Wanderers defender Ethan Ebanks-Landell has been ruled out for around a month due to a broken bone in his foot.

The Championship side said this morning that the 22-year-old did not need surgery on the broken metatarsal, but could miss up to six weeks of action.

Wolves head of medical Phil Hayward told the club website: "We will carefully manage the recovery process which will initially involve reducing the amount of load the bone is exposed to, but if all goes well he is expected to be on the sidelines for between four and six weeks."

Ebanks-Landell has made seven appearances for Wolves this season and been part of the matchday squad for all 13 of the club's matches.
