Wolverhampton Wanderers striker Steven Fletcher has been named on the 35-man shortlist for Great Britain's Olympic squad this summer.
The 25-year-old Scotland international scored 12 goals in the Premier League last season but could not fire Wolves away from the Premier League drop.
Manager Stuart Pearce is only allowed to select three players over the age of 23 in his final 18-man squad, which is announced in the first week of July.
That leaves Fletcher competing with the likes of David Beckham, Ryan Giggs and Craig Bellamy for one of Pearce's wildcard picks.
Fletcher is widely expected to leave Molinuex this summer following their relegation from the top flight.
