Wolverhampton Wanderers striker Steven Fletcher is unlikely to face Queens Park Rangers on Saturday, according to his manager Mick McCarthy.
The former Scotland international injured his groin during the weekend's home loss to Tottenham Hotspur and now faces a race against time to prove his fitness ahead of QPR's visit to Molineux.
"Fletcher has hurt his groin and is a doubt for Saturday," the boss told the club's official website.
"It looked really bad on Sunday but it had settled down yesterday. We are hopeful, that's how I would rate him."
Fletcher has scored one Premier League goal so far this season.
