Kenny Jackett: I'm "very proud" of Wolverhampton Wanderers record

Wolverhampton Wanderers head coach Kenny Jackett reveals that he is focused on continuing the improvement at Molineux after recording his 50th win in charge of the club.

Wolverhampton Wanderers head coach Kenny Jackett has admitted that he is "very proud" to have recorded 50 wins at the club in such a short space of time.

A 2-1 victory over Nottingham Forest on Friday ensured that Jackett reached that total in the lowest number of games by a Wolves manager, beating Graham Turner's previous record of 87 games by one.

However, he has acknowledged that the club need to keep improving if they are to achieve their target of promotion to the Premier League.

The 53-year-old is quoted by the Express & Star as saying: "I'm very proud. It's still early on for me but to be mentioned in and around those names is great and long may it continue.

"The beauty of it in football is you have to look forward in terms of how you're going to keep improving. We're pleased with what we've done in a short space of time."

Only goal difference keeps Wolves out of a playoff place with six games left of the season.
