Kevin Doyle calm over leaders

Wolverhampton Wanderers striker Kevin Doyle insists that there is plenty of time for his side to catch the League One leaders.

Wolverhampton Wanderers striker Kevin Doyle has revealed that he is not concerned by the position that his team is currently in.

Having drawn 1-1 with Coventry City at the weekend, Wolves lost ground on League One's top two sides Leyton Orient and Peterborough United.

However, despite the six-point gap in place between Wolves and leaders Orient, Doyle insists that there is more than enough time for the Molineux-based outfit to overhaul the deficit.

"It's a long season and the teams above us will drop points at some stage so it's up to us to then hopefully pick up some more," he told the Express & Star.

"We have to be satisfied with what we've picked up so far. You can't worry too much this early about what other teams are doing.

"We've only lost one league game and have won eight before Saturday."

Next up for Wolves is a home clash with Oldham Athletic tomorrow night.
