Wolverhampton Wanderers manager Mick McCarthy was left angry with referee Anthony Taylor's failure to send off Stoke City's Jonathan Woodgate at Molineux this afternoon.
McCarthy believes that Woodgate should have been issued with a second yellow card following a challenge that resulted in a penalty to Wolves.
However, Taylor opted to keep his card in his pocket and shortly after Woodgate was substituted.
"He should have been sent off," said McCarthy. "If it had been outside the box he would have been sent off."
Wolves are now 17th in the Premier League table after today's 2-1 loss.
