Wolverhampton Wanderers overcome Bray Wanderers 5-1 on Saturday.

Wolverhampton Wanderers put in a strong second-half performance as they overcame Bray Wanderers 5-1 on Saturday.

Frank Nouble made a fine start to proceedings and he struck with his first goal for Wolves after 14 minutes, with the Championship club well in control of the opening stages of the match.

Bray were not without their chances, however, and Kieran Waters came close with a header after 20 minutes. The Bray striker levelled the match after 32 minutes when he slid in on Carl Ikeme and the ball trickled into the net.

Wolves started the second period with a different XI, and it was 2-1 and quickly 3-1 early on when Steven Fletcher struck with an overhead kick and Matt Jarvis tucked home from close range.

Matt Doherty made it 4-1 when he struck a wonderful effort into the top corner after 81 minutes, and Fletcher added a fifth late on - as the club secured a comfortable win.
