Adlene Guedioura scores the winning goal against former club Wolves to earn Nottingham Forest a 2-1 win at Molineux.

Adlene Guedioura came back to haunt his former club as he secured Nottingham Forest maximum points over Wolverhampton Wanderers at Molineux this afternoon.

The Algerian international, who moved from Wolves to the City Ground permanently in the summer, struck a 57th-minute winner for the Reds to condemn the hosts to an eighth consecutive Championship match without victory.

Bjorn Sigurdarson had earned Wolves a sixth-minute advantage when his fierce first-time strike from the edge of the box flew past Lee Camp.

He would be brilliantly denied by the Forest stopper later in a half which saw Simon Cox and Billy Sharp miss great chances for the visitors.

However, Sharp did find the target with an earlier effort, controlling Henri Lansbury's cross-field pass before shooting past Carl Ikeme to cancel out Sigurdarson's opener.

There was only ever one team in it during the second period and Forest grabbed a deserved winner when Guedioura ran unchallenged before shooting low into the bottom corner.
