Stewart Downing has been left on the bench for Middlesbrough's trip to Wolverhampton Wanderers in the Championship this afternoon.

The former England winger has seen his place in the side taken by Carlos de Pena, while Emilio Nsue has also replaced Albert Adomah.

Meanwhile, Wolves have made four changes. Matt Doherty has come in for the suspended Dominic Iorfa at right-back while David Edwards has been preferred to club captain Karl Henry in central midfield.

Rajiv van La Parra and Nathan Byrne will line up on either flank as they replace Sheyo Ojo and Adam Le Fondre.
