Portsmouth's loanee goalkeeper Aaron McCarey has returned to his parent club Wolverhampton Wanderers with immediate effect.
The 23-year-old joined Pompey last month and he went on to make six appearances for the League Two side, from which he kept two clean sheets.
"Thanks to all at @officialpompey really enjoyed my time there. Great club and fully expect to see them promoted come end of season," the keeper wrote on Twitter.
The former Republic of Ireland Under-21 international has not played for Wolves since a League Cup tie in 2014.
