Ajax defender Nicolai Boilesen will undergo a medical with Wolverhampton Wanderers today ahead of signing a deal worth a reported £300,000.
The 23-year-old, who can play at left-back or in the centre, has failed to make an appearance for the Dutch side this season after rejecting an offer of a new contract last summer.
Ajax are willing to accept just £300,000 from the Championship side this month rather than see him leave on a free at the end of the season.
Boilesen, who has 15 caps for Denmark, was tracked by Aston Villa last season but their interest dried up, according to the Express & Star.
Playoff-chasers Wolves have money to spend this month following the £10m sale of Benik Afobe to Bournemouth.
