Leo Bonatini wants Wolverhampton Wanderers stay

Wolverhampton Wanderers striker Leo Bonatini says that he wants to stay with the club beyond his loan spell from Saudi Arabian side Al-Hilal.

Wolverhampton Wanderers striker Leo Bonatini has outlined his desire to remain with the club and win promotion to the Premier League.

The 23-year-old moved to Molineux on a season-long loan from Al-Hilal in Saudi Arabia over the summer and has since scored four goals and created four more for Nuno Espirito Santo's side.

That involvement tally leads the way among players in the Championship, and the Brazilian is now keen to set down more permanent roots in England.

"I do not want to move back to Hilal," he told Sky Sports News. "I want to stay here.

"For sure, I want to stay and play for Wolves next season in the Premier League and then to stay in the Premier League. That is what we are all doing here. That is our target."

Bonatini has featured in all 11 of Wolves' league games so far this season, helping them to second in the Championship table.
