Wolverhampton Wanderers have reportedly submitted a bid of £1.9m for Reims midfielder Prince Oniangue.
The 27-year-old, who operates at defensive midfield, is available for transfer following the French side's relegation to Ligue 2 at the end of last season.
According to Foot Mercato, a host of Ligue 1 sides have expressed interest in signing the French-born Congolese international, including Marseille, Montpellier and Guingamp.
However, Championship outfit Wolves appear to have stolen a march on their rivals with a bid of €2.2m (£1.9m) and an offer of a three-year contract.
Oniangue has 13 goals in 82 appearances for Reims since he joined from Ligue 2 Tours in 2013.
