Wolverhampton Wanderers could reportedly make a late transfer window raid on rivals West Bromwich Albion for defender Sebastien Pocognoli.
Championship outfit Wolves are without a recognised senior left-back after the decision was taken to sell Scott Golbourne to Bristol City earlier this week.
To fill the void left by Golbourne, 28-year-old Pocognoli has been identified as one of the leading options by head coach Kenny Jackett, according to the Express & Star.
The report adds that Jackett, who was at The Hawthorns to watch Pocognoli make just his fourth start in 13 months yesterday afternoon, would prefer to secure the Belgian's services on an initial loan deal.
The last player to directly cross the Black Country divide was winger Robbie Dennison in 1987.
