Wolverhampton Wanderers boss Kenny Jackett has recalled Kortney Hause from his youth loan at Gillingham.
The 19-year-old defender was due to stay with the League One club until the New Year, but Jackett has ended his stint over a month early to provide cover at the back for Championship side Wolves.
"Ethan (Ebanks-Landell) has a hamstring injury and we don't know how long he will be out for but he certainly won't be available this weekend," Jackett told the club website.
"Danny Batth is on four bookings which is one away from a suspension and, defensively, we have let in 10 goals in three games.
"So Kortney comes back in with some good experience from playing for Gillingham and England Under-20s and give us the chance to have a good look at him."
Hause started 14 of Gillingham's 18 League One games so far this season, scoring once.
