Wolverhampton Wanderers have completed the season-long loan addition of Tongo Doumbia from French club Rennes.
The 22-year-old midfielder, who passed a medical at Molineux on Friday, has already trained with his new teammates.
Reflecting on his latest signing, Wolves manager Stale Solbakken believes that he has added some real "quality" to his squad.
"I am delighted we have managed to sign Tongo who will bring some more quality to the squad," Solbakken told the club's official website.
"He also has good experience for a young player and made 26 appearances last season for a top six club in France.
"He is a box-to-box player who can operate in that central role defensively and offensively and as well as being physically strong he is also good in possession."
Doumbia has made two appearances for the Malian senior team.
