Bayer Leverkusen have reportedly won the race to sign Vitoria de Guimaraes defender Edmond Tapsoba.
Earlier this week, it was claimed that Wolverhampton Wanderers and Leicester City were considering an approach for the 20-year-old.
However, according to O Jogo, Leverkusen have stolen a march on the Premier League duo by agreeing terms with Vitoria.
The report claims that the Bundesliga outfit are prepared to pay €18m (£15.14m) for the Burkina Faso international.
The centre-back has enjoyed a strong campaign with Vitoria, contributing four goals from 21 outings in all competitions and impressing in the Europa League double-header with Arsenal.
