Dutch FA president Michael van Praag blasts Sepp Blatter

Dutch FA president Michael van Praag unleashes a scathing attack on FIFA and its president Sepp Blatter.

The president of the Dutch Football Association Michael van Praag has launched a scathing attack on FIFA and its president Sepp Blatter.

World football's governing body has recently come under fresh criticism over the decision to award Qatar the 2022 World Cup, with allegations of corruption being made by The Sunday Times.

A number of UEFA delegates raised concerns over the issue at a meeting between the European federations today, and Van Praag added his voice to those disputing the current state of FIFA.

"FIFA has an ugly reputation around the world and Blatter as president is ultimately responsible. When people think about FIFA, they think about corruption, bribery, money and old boys' network," Van Praag is quoted as saying by Sky Sports News.

FA chairman Greg Dyke and UEFA vice president David Gill have also criticised Blatter today.
