Kasimpasa will be aiming to clinch a third consecutive victory when they face Yeni Malatyaspor in the Super Lig on Saturday.
The hosts, meanwhile, are rock bottom of the league table, with their five-season stay in the top flight set to come to an end.
Match preview
With just nine matches left to play, Yeni Malatyaspor find themselves 15 points adrift of safety following a disappointing campaign.
Although they seem destined to drop down to the second tier, the bottom-placed side will want to put up a fight until it is mathematically impossible to remain in the Super Lig.
A first-half strike from Altay's Marco Paixao saw them slump to a 1-0 defeat in their last outing, but they do have the chance to claim consecutive home victories on Saturday.
In fact, the 1-0 victory that they picked up against Adana Demirspor in their most recent home fixture represents the only win that Yeni Malatyaspor have collected in their last 16 games in all competitions.
Cihat Arslan's side can take encouragement from their head-to-head home record against Kasimpasa, as Yeni Malatyaspor have lost just once in their last four home meetings against Friday's opponents.
As for Kasimpasa, they sit just outside of the relegation zone, but back-to-back victories has helped them establish a six-point cushion over the bottom four.
After winning 3-2 away against Goztepe, Kasimpasa played host to Caykur Rizespor in another contest that produced goals.
Awer Mabil gave Kasimpasa the lead in the 27th minute, and the encounter did not produce another goal until the 65th minute when the encounter truly came to life.
Selim Ay equalised for the visitors before Umut Bozok and Mamadou Fall struck for the hosts to seal a 3-1 victory that could prove crucial in their fight against the drop.
That result also ensured that Kasimpasa have lost just two games in their last 12 league matches and it has been a run of form that has seen them rise from the bottom of the standings to a side that now sit in 15th place.
A clinical frontline has been the main factor in their recent success, with Friday's visitors scoring at least two goals in nine of their previous 11 Super Lig contests.

Team News
Nuri Fatih Aydin and Stephen Mallan will both miss the encounter for the hosts due to their respective injury issues.
Karim Hafez, meanwhile, will serve a one-match suspension due to an accumulation of yellow cards, which could result in Oussama Haddadi moving over to left-back.
If Haddadi does indeed move to full-back then Baris Basdas is expected to partner Gaston Campi in the centre of defence.
As for the visitors, they are likely to be without Jeffrey Bruma and Sakib Aytac with the pair struggling with injury issues.
Tarkan Serbest is suspended for Saturday's contest due to an accumulation of yellow cards.
Despite coming on to score in the 3-1 win over Caykur Rizespor, Bozok may once again have to settle for a place on the bench.
Yeni Malatyaspor possible starting lineup:
Ozbir; Zeffane, Basdas, Campi, Haddadi, Eskihellac, Ozer, Okechukwu, Nshimirimana, Chouiar; Dicko
Kasimpasa possible starting lineup:
Taskiran; Hadergonaj, Donk, Spajic, Ben Ouanes; Hajradinovic, Haspolat, Eysseric; Fall, Mabil, Muleka
We say: Yeni Malatyaspor 0-2 Kasimpasa
Kasimpasa can claim a league double over their hosts with a victory on Saturday, and we think they will do just that when they come up against a Yeni Malatyaspor who are propping up the Super Lig table.
