Fernando Alonso has admitted that at the moment his Ferrari is not fast enough to compete with Red Bull.
The Spaniard finished second at the Indian Grand Prix on Sunday and now trails race winner and world championship leader Sebastian Vettel by 13 points.
"We need to bring some new parts to Abu Dhabi, hopefully improve the competitiveness of the car, and be a little closer to the Red Bulls on Saturday and Sunday," he is quoted as saying by the BBC.
"There are three races remaining, we need to recover some points and it would be nice to finish in front of Sebastian in Abu Dhabi whatever the positions.
"And if we are able to win then even better. But at the moment we are not fast enough to win."
Vettel's Red Bull teammate Mark Webber finished third at the Indian GP.
