Ferrari still confident of success

Ferrari team boss Stefano Domenicali says that Fernando Alonso remains positive despite crashing out of the Malaysian Grand Prix at the weekend.

Ferrari team boss Stefano Domenicali has insisted that Fernando Alonso can still win the Championship this season despite crashing out of the Malaysian Grand Prix at the weekend.

The Ferrari driver was forced off at the start of lap two when his front wing detached, but Domenicali has claimed that the Spaniard is still confident.

"He's mature. Of course he's not happy to come away with zero points, but he's positive and looking forward because he knows we have something to play with," he told AutoSport.

"The championship is very long. It's important we stay cool and deliver our best. In terms of development, as everyone will do, we try to develop the car and this is the target for every race."

Sebastian Vettel claimed first position in the race.
