Nico Rosberg quickest in third practice

Nico Rosberg goes quickest in the final practice, edging out Mercedes teammate Lewis Hamilton ahead of this weekend's Malaysian Grand Prix.

Nico Rosberg has finished quickest in the final practice session ahead of this weekend's Malaysian Grand Prix.

The German edged out teammate Lewis Hamilton, who was 0.184 of a second slower on the medium compound tires.

The Englishman endured a shaky start to this weekend's events, despite going fastest in second practice on Friday morning.

Both Ferrari drivers completed the top four, as Kimi Raikkonen was half-a-second slower than Hamilton but was half-a-second faster than teammate Sebastian Vettel.

Jenson Button suffered a torrid time during this session's practice after finding out that the engine he used in Friday's practices will not be used again, leaving the Brit with one fewer engine allocation for the rest of the season.
