Ferrari boss Maurizio Arrivabene has suggested that Sebastian Vettel is a better driver than seven-time world champion Michael Schumacher.
Schumi was widely regarded by some as the best driver to grace Formula 1 after dominating the sport for much of the 1990s and 2000s.
However, Arrivabene has claimed that Vettel is better than the German legend "in some respects".
"Many said that Seb only wins because he has the best car and at times I thought so too," Arrivabene told Corriere della Sera.
"Now that I work with him, I can say that, in some respects, he is even better than Michael.
"Especially his character, because Michael was an introvert who opened up to only a small group of people, while Seb is regarded by the guys as one of them."
Vettel won four consecutive F1 drivers' titles during his time with Red Bull.
