Didier Coton hints at Valtteri Bottas Williams exit

Valtteri Bottas could leave Williams at the end of this season, says his manager Didier Coton.

Valtteri Bottas's manager Didier Coton has admitted that the Finnish driver could leave Williams at the end of the season.

The 25-year-old is out of contract this year and, although Williams are reportedly keen to keep him, he has been repeatedly linked with a move to Ferrari.

Paton insists that the British outfit are a top team, but has refused to rule out an exit in November.

He told Autosport: "For us, the complete package is important, the driver has certain objectives, and in Valtteri's case he wants to win races and he wants to be world champion, and we need to work on that.

"That could be with Williams, it could be with any other team, a team that will have the means necessary to do that. We will look at all the different possibilities for him in the long term to achieve his objective."

Bottas scored six podiums last season.
