Marussia driver Jules Bianchi has been taken to hospital after being involved in a crash during the Japanese Grand Prix.
The FIA has confirmed that the Frenchman was unconscious after reportedly colliding with a vehicle that had been recovering Adrian Sutil's Sauber, which had run wide moments earlier.
Bianchi is being taken to the nearest hospital by road ambulance, and no further details surrounding his conditions have been released.
The incident caused the race to be stopped early, handing the victory to Britain's Lewis Hamilton.
