Manor and Caterham have been included on the FIA's provisional 11-team entry list for the 2015 Formula 1 season.
The futures of both teams had been unclear after they entered administration following the Russian Grand Prix, which led to them missing the race in America on Sunday.
However, both Malaysian outfit Caterham and English team Manor, formerly known as Marussia, have signalled their intentions to field two cars for next campaign.
Sky Sports News also reports that both hope to return to the grid for the season-ending race in Abu Dhabi.
McLaren have also revealed a name change - to McLaren-Honda - for 2015, following their reunion with the engine supplier.
