Sebastian Vettel has said that he is pleased with his first two practice sessions ahead of Sunday's Brazilian Grand Prix.
The Red Bull driver was second to McLaren's Lewis Hamilton at Interlagos, while his title rival Fernando Alonso struggled to find any pace in his Ferrari.
The German leads the championship by 13 points heading into the final race of the season.
"It was a good day for us," Vettel told Sky Sports News. "We had no major problems and I had a decent long run at the end."
Rain has been forecast for Sunday, but the German said that his crew will not make any major adjustments unless there is a deluge.
"Nowadays we don't really have a wet setup anymore," he added. "There are a couple of things you would like to change if it is really wet, but if it is not that wet then we will just put on the wet tyres and go from there."
A fourth-placed finish on Sunday will be enough to see Vettel win his third world title.
