Lotus Renault driver Kimi Raikkonen has left the door open for a return to McLaren.
The 32-year-old, who returned to Formula 1 this season following a three-year stint in Rallying and NASCAR, has reportedly been targeted by McLaren chiefs as contract talks with Lewis Hamilton rumble on.
Raikkonen drove for McLaren from 2002 until 2006, but it was only when he made the move to Ferrari in 2007 that he captured the F1 drivers' championship.
When asked if he would make the move to McLaren, Raikkonen replied: "You never know.
"There are a lot of other nice things to do than Formula 1, but right now we have options and we'll see what happens."
Sergio Perez has denied rumours that McLaren have approached him to replace Hamilton behind the wheel.
