Nico Rosberg on pole in Abu Dhabi

Mercedes driver Nico Rosberg will start on pole for Sunday's Abu Dhabi Grand Prix.

Nico Rosberg has finished ahead of Lewis Hamilton to earn pole position for the Abu Dhabi Grand Prix on Sunday.

The German driver was three tenths of a second faster than Mercedes teammate Hamilton, while Ferrari's Kimi Raikkonen will start the race in third.

Force India's Sergio Perez will complete the second row of the grid, but it was a session to forget for Sebastian Vettel, who did not make it out of Q1 and will start in 16th spot.

McLaren's Jenson Button will start in 12th, with teammate Fernando Alonso five places behind in 17th position.
